Super Green Power Balls

If you are anything like me, you love to snack! Having healthy snacks accessible is key to fuelling your body right. There are so many snacks on the market that are full of empty calories and lack protein to actually make you feel satisfied, not to mention all the preservatives and ingredients nobody can pronounce.






It isn’t always easy to get those greens into your body during the day, which are so important and help boost your energy, support digestion and immune health. Power balls are a tasty way to eat your greens while satisfying that sweet tooth, naturally.



Super Green Power Balls


Ingredients:


  • 1 cup of quick oats

  • 1 tablespoon of Now Foods Superseeds Mix

  • 1 tablespoon of Nested Naturals Super Greens Powder, plus a little extra to sprinkle on top

  • 10 Medjool Dates

  • 2 tablespoons of coconut oil

  • 3 tablespoons of water


Instructions:


1. Simply add all ingredients to a food processor and combine until thoroughly mixed.


2. Scrape the sides as needed and continue processing.


3. Slightly wet yours hands and roll into golf ball sized balls and refrigerate.

The NOW Superseeds mix is made up of flax seeds, chia seeds and hemp seeds. It is something I use on a daily basis. It is perfect for adding to cereal, yogourt, granola, salads or power balls!
